The extensive capabilities of ITT Systems were created by integrating three separate entities:  ITT Federal Services Corporation was the foundation of the Division, with extensive capability in system sustainment/modernization and engineering and technical services.  With two acquisitions, ITT incorporated Kaman Sciences for command and control, and software systems development and sustainment, and Stanford Telecommunications for satellite control, and satellite communications systems development and integration.  Mr. Gulino is responsible for the management and overall operation of all ITT Systems’ facilities and projects, which include 176 operating locations in 22 states, 18 foreign countries, and 5 continents with ~ 12,658 employees and team mates.  Half of Systems revenue comes from the international locations.

Previously, he was Vice President and Director of Business Development for ITT Systems. In this position, he was responsible for leading a team of technical, management, and business development professionals in developing and executing capture strategies leading to contract award for ITT Systems.

Mr. Gulino has over 30 years of experience within the Defense Industry.  Prior to joining ITT Systems Division, Mr. Gulino was President and Chief Operating Officer of VT Griffin Services, where he was responsible for the day-to-day management of the company, including operations, business development, program management, quality, and safety.   While at VT Griffin, Mr. Gulino played a key role in the acquisition of two companies and their integration into VT Griffin. Prior to joining VT Griffin, Mr. Gulino was President of Complete Building Services, a division of The Donohoe Companies, where he was instrumental in developing the company’s entry into the Federal Government market.

Mr. Gulino’s initial career began after graduate school with PAE Government Services in the Far East where he served in a number of management capacities on a 28,000 employee DOD contract before being transferred to Washington, D.C.  Mr. Gulino built the Washington operation into the largest and most successful division of the company.  Mr. Gulino’s operations included contracts with the Department of Defense and other Federal Government agencies in the Washington, DC, area, Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain, Russia, Belgium, Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Saudi Arabia.

Mr. Gulino holds a BA degree in Psychology and an MBA in Management, both from Western Michigan University.   He is a member of numerous defense industry organizations and associations and has served as Chairman of the Contract Services Association (CSA), when he was presented with the CSA Association Member of the Year award for his efforts connected with changing an important piece of legislation affecting the industry.
